I’ve created this thread with only 1 purpose: IMO “Yay! n-sales” threads are stupid. Imagine cashiers at the supermarket constantly yelling “Yay! n-sales”. Cool ha?

I agree. But, not every cashier at the supermarket is as passionate as the community here. In todays digital age, it is fantastic that anyone, and I mean anyone can go online, be good at something and actually see income immediately. Totally unheard of not to long ago.

I know so many people who set so many goals for them self – to get 1 sale, 10 sales, 50 sales 100 sales etc; and it is so gratifying to accomplish those goals.

Of course there should be a time and place for that, which you have created for us – but sometimes seeing “Congrats!”, “Nice work, keep it up!” is truly motivating, pushing that person closer to their next goal. One of the reasons why I love this community.

Now, 1 person alone, cool not so many messages, but Envato has 2.7MM members! Crazy awesome! That inturn means many more Yay posts its just simple math.

I think there should be a place for people to post stuff like that to, maybe someplace MORE official, and ofcourse like anything, once its created it will take time for people to understand where to post.

But dont worry to much, it will be ok :)

Just my two cents.

I once was very interested in building (electric) guitars, and the one tool you absolutely need was a router:

They can be very expensive, though.

I was looking at dew all they have many good things! I was looking at this one also

I recently found a new passion for making things with wood.. I made a nice wine cabinet and bookcase so far! Although I am a complete beginner I was quite happy with my latest projects.

Does anyone know a good project plan for a wooden coin box? I want to create a box to hold coins and bills for saving to travel :)

Any ideas or inspiration? Or even Reccomend a good tool for building? I just have a hammer, nails sandpaper and a saw, but I would like to get a good tool that is not to expensive for wood working.

Thanks!
what all tools are you wanting to use?

Not really sure but something where I can cut things out or add edges.
