Happy New Year everyone!! All the best for a successful one!
We can all agree that the hay day for ThemeForest has come to past. Top authors are barely making the cut with a few sales, and the incoming authors has to struggle to produce a great product. Part of this, I think, is the raise in price for themes (especially WordPress).
When the prices were lower, more and more people were encouraged to purchase themes and test them out. Nowadays I feel as though people really need to be convinced to buy a theme, and it looks like that is becoming harder.
Sure, the author deserves more for their work, but would it be better to have a theme for $50 and only get 10 sales or a theme for $35 and make 200 sales? I see as less is more in this scenario.
Just a random thought, maybe the community can get engaged in.
I wonder if any of you might be of some help to me. I’m using the jQuery UI slider function to builder a slider to select different packages of hosting.
I found this site: vps.net
If you scroll to the bottom, you can see the slider that they use and if you scrub through it, several values change at once. I have my basic slider set up but only the basic value to change.
Would any of you be of some help as to helping me get multiple values to work.
Thank you very much!
Is there a way to build a “program” per-say, to show users or to give them special privileges, maybe to show them a new file or a special update before its posted to a marketplace?
That would be a great idea to draw more followers.
Congrats Kriesi!! A well deserved accomplishment for you on here. I remember seeing your very first file on the marketplace and I had immediately liked it, now seeing that you’ve come this far is truly inspiring to many of us authors on here! Keep the good work and continue making great themes! cheers
Happy Birthday man! and congrats on everything and best of wishes!
