@Gareth_Gillman could you please share your thoughts about UnoSlider case, one bulk sale of 4500 licenses.
There is a jurisprudence. Uno Slider had a huge bulk sale. @natman @Envato, could you please tell us what you did? (considered the bulk purchases as individual sales or remove all the sales from the popular list) ?
Count 1 bulk sale of x number of licenses as 1 sale in weekly popular list count ( no one will complain again for sure ).
I’m sorry to say this, but I don’t think buyers buy a certain theme just because it’s #1 in themes list. Of course there are people doing this, but not everyone has the same shopping habits.
Number 1 things attracts much attention than others. If that theme serves their purpose they will sure purchase it

Envato has a dedicated team to detect fraud .
I think the best thing to stop this game, envato should not count more than a sale in a week if it’s come from same customer, this will prevent not only X but also other items, cause someone can purchase his item every day 10 or 20 times and no one will understand it. the best thing will be if our sales will be counted by unique customers per week. i really don’t understand how someone will purchase 1000 licences two weeks in a row. And if we look at avada, it’s my opinion, this has affected his sales cause two weeks before it had more than 1600 sales, now it has more than 1300, maybe next week lower. ( Sorry for my bad English ) Thanks
They should count multiple sales in weekly popular list from same buyers except BULK BUYERS. Bulk deals are purchased by contacting Envato directly and it should be considered special deal and this should not counted in weekly popular list.
Create a special page for bulk deals “Envato Market Bulk Sales” and list bulk deal items and copies sold per deal from all 8 marketplaces.
digitalscience saidI agree with that.
.....theme legitimately – then you deserve that sales count
If I do promotions like that by involving with 3rd party company, how will others(or Envato) know whether its funded by me or the company.
Envato can say anything, because they are also making money out of this deal
