It happens to everyone at some time. Mountains and valleys Don’t let it bother you or your creativity and enthusiasm will suffer.
My upload button has disappeared for the last hour or so. It was there yesterday!
I think we know what I mean with “creation”, s. Copyright – Original Creation. If you like something from another author, why not ask him, if he allows the usage? That would be the easy way. And if he denies, but it is allowed under Envato terms, there’s no problem at all.
+1 Many authors here collaborate on projects and come to agreements about how to use/share/mutually benefit their items. We are not alone
We all have had the same experience as you in the beginning and it is difficult to accept the reviewers’ opinions when they reject. But don’t give up. Also it helps to be a bit humble and accept that the reviewers are carefully chosen for Envato’s needs. Like a shop turning down some items that a salesman is offering. Doesn’t mean they are bad, but that maybe they have enough similar items, or the item doesn’t fit their customer base. There are reasons we cannot even guess. Just keep designing and submitting new items and your first acceptance will give you an amazing high. good luck.
I have a very slow internet speed here sometimes (and regular power outages) and what i have done a few times is email the author after purchase, so they can see the purchase code, and i ask them to break the file up into four or five folders and upload to dropbox. So far the authors have been really great about this and it is so much easier to receive.
It’s encouraging to know that the printing companies think quite highly of GR items, or Envato items as a whole. It must be really exciting to see something of yours customised and printed in the ‘real’ world.
Since there has been so little response to this, i have tagged for Staff reply. Thank you.
Can anyone tell me why some of the tags in some items begin with capital letters, even though (in my case at least) i typed them in lower case? Are the first tags we enter assumed to be the most important, and then automatically capitalized… but only sometimes?
Or does a reviewer decide, or maybe there are some generic words that are automatically capitalized in the publishing process?
Do capitalized words get priority in the searching, in which case can we request some words to be capitalized?
