When it comes to optimal waking hours, the idea of chronotypes seems to discredit all the one-way-or-the-other productivity writers.

This doesn’t have much to say about the concept of light stopping the production of melatonin to keep us alert, but it is often said that indoor light is so poor (at least in comparison with the sun, which is the light source these rhythms developed around) that the body doesn’t see a big difference between night and many office setups.

Putting aside practical considerations such as how children affect the work day, it seems like figuring out what your chronotype is, and taking breaks in the sun when you can, is the best way to stay alert and productive.

It’s possible if you included links that WordPress decided to throw your comment in the spam bin. Since popular blogs get thousands of spam comments each day nobody has time to go through the spam bin usually, and it may have been lost.

Hi Slavador, when a file is held for a longer period of time than usual it is generally because there is an issue with the submission being discussed by the review team. I’m sure you’ll get a response soon. If you find nothing has happened with your submission as the two week mark draws closer, I recommend filing a support ticket. Cheers!

Yio — I think the people clucking are generally from other marketplaces (the global marketplace is one where all marketplace members can communicate regardless of which one you actually use).

It does bear repeating that you can opt not to offer the new licenses for sale. It’s been a feature request for a long time so I’m sure most people will make use of it in some way or another, but if you don’t want to, just turn it off. :)

Thomas, there are authors who want to use the web license and authors who don’t. All authors get a choice. There’s no pressure to use it, it’s there for those who actually do want it. There is no problem for anyone here — unless you think that the people who actually asked for this license don’t deserve to have their feature requests implemented?

If you don’t like the license, don’t use it. Easy!

Yio — web service license is ThemeForest-only for web themes and the like. Won’t be using that one here. :)

Aequitas, a bigger portfolio has helped many an author, but the best thing you can do is get out and do some marketing for your work. Even if it’s a bit of self-promo word of mouth, doing something is better than letting the files sit there and hoping they sell themselves. :) Our best earners usually spend a few hours each week do some form of marketing and/or networking.

You can find out who has purchased your tracks if they leave a comment on the page or when they send you a message for file support. This way disclosure of identity is voluntary for our buyers.

Hope that helps, mate!

lyden — Akismet was holding your comment as spam, so I just fished out the last of your attempts and hopefully you won’t have trouble next time – let me know if you do.
