I do some print work from time to time as a freelancer for dif. companies. I usually ask from 30 to 50 $ for full stationary ( letterhead, envelope, business cards ). It is quite a low price for my work but in this economy – It’s a buck well earned.

Thanks for your reply ibib. What about 20$ per hour? It’s a right price? Because they also asked how much I will charge if I will work 10 hours/ week.

Hello guys, I want to ask you all something. Let’s say that someone contacted me and asked me if I can design from time to time some business cards and brochures. Because this is the first time someone ask me to tell him the prices I ask for this kind of designs, I don’t know what to say. Can you give me some advices? Or can you tell me, usually, how much is this kind of design worth?

i can’t imagine what they are thinking. i also bought some themes and templates wich i realise after that i’m not going to use them, but i did not asked the money back . it’s my problem that “i am dumb” and i’m buying stuff i won’t use. anyway, simnor is right.

My turn . I work for a national newspaper, and anyone who want’s to put a commercial in the newspaper comes to me. It’s a cool job, but in a few months i’m going to quit.

I am curious to find out what do you do for living. Besides the fact that you design things, or code things. Do you have a good job? Do you like your job? Are you some kind of managing director in a international corporation? Who’s who?
