I discovered the problem, this is embarrassing.

Accidentally added the email from Envato notifications in a filter to delete the coming emails from that address. The issue is solved.

Thanks for taking the time to read my concern, guys.

Just did it :)
(on your latest Joomla file)

Thanks @Bedros!

No email. Also checked in spam box.

Had same issue, was using an outlook e-mail – I had to switch to my gmail account to get it working again.

Now it’s everything fine!

Kind Regards.

Hi @CODE9RS, thanks for the suggestion.

I’m using a gmail account actually. Time to submit a support ticket :)

Hi guys,

Do any of you have this problem: when one of my items was soft disabled I didn’t received the notification, same case when was enabled back.

This week I had a new item approved for sale, same situation: I didn’t received any email notification.

Already checked my account settings. “Item review notifications” is enabled. Already checked spam box.

No email.

Thing is that since 2015 and EU regulations we know, Envato should be supplier and seller.

+1 many discussions will be solved by accepting this responsability, because the true based on how the money flows is that Envato is the seller.

Envato reverses sales without asking or even telling authors until after it’s been done by them and with no information to whom the reversal has been made to. How can Envato reverse a sale that they supposedly didn’t originally make?

Hi guys,

Just got a new template approved, is a multipurpose template (not a multi theme template).

I have a complain about the price. Has the same price than niche templates. That’s one of the issues we are commenting here, setting a similar price for very different kind of products is not good for a healthy competition. That’s my opinion.

I already submited a support ticket with id 121199

the main concern are not the technical issues, is about how Envato react different with authors and buyers.

Hey Valentín!

At face value I can see why you’d come to that conclusion, although I can guarantee you that we don’t offer buyers preferential treatment over Authors.

With regard to your Theme, I’ve looked into this and it has indeed been disabled for a faulty portfolio page on mobile. The nature of the fault means that users can’t use the portfolio page without seeing an error message. As a company that’s required to adhere to Australian consumer law, the Soft Disable really boils down to the fact that we can’t sell items that we know are faulty.

Happy to answer any questions you might have :)

Christian

Thanks for jumping into the discussion @Christian,

Yes, I confirmed the issue exist in portfolio in mobile, but as I explained in my first comment I agree about that issue, but disagree about 2 things:

1) WC3 validation issue, I didn’t knew was a mandatory requirement. Many themes has erros, and I don’t see why that must be fixed since is not required and doesn’t break the functionality. I appreciate if you point me to the page where states that if I’m wrong.

2) A single complain from a buyer can easily get an item soft disabled, but many complains about authors getting unfair (and ridiculous) ratings as example and still no helpful anwers from staff. That’s power for buyers, sorry if I sound grumpy but that is how I feel.

I appreciate your comments.

This is a serious issue. Envato never pays any attention towards serious issues raised by authors but a single complaint by a buyer can make an item soft disabled.

These kind of little issues can resolve in few mins and a soft disabling the item doesn’t make any sense.

Marked this for staff reply and i am 10000000000000000000% sure we will never get any satisfying answer from the staff.

Hi @loveishkalsi,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yes, buyers have more power, that is how many authors feels based specially in the ratings issue. we can make a list about the compalins, but let’s focus on topic.

I hope to get a satisfying answer from the staff btw :)

I didn’t fixed the item, related to the portfolio issue because I’m losing trust in the marketplace, I would spent some hours of hard work to fix it but what if another buyer complains and again get my template soft disabled without taking care my time and thoughts?

I also received another soft disabled item that would take 1 minute to fix. This time was different because I didn’t received the email notification (not even in spam) and commented that to the reviewer when I submited the update: sadly I didn’t got any reply about the missing email notification when was soft disabled neither when was published again. Staff can suggest open a support ticket but why, if I reported the issue to reviewer, ignoring completelly the comments is not polite :(

Hi,

This is not ethical i know but you can validate best seller themes. Some themes available 100 – 200 errors in a home page.

Modal popup not critical, you can fix 5 min.

I’m very sorry for happened. I hope that your problem will be solved soon.

Hi @ThemeSama, the main concern are not the technical issues, is about how Envato react different with authors and buyers.

Is not about fixing that issues, is about big difference on attitude between Envato – Buyers and Envato – Authors.

Thanks for your thoughts @NRGthemes,
You understood my main idea very well.
