What an interesting topic. When I was younger, I wasn’t really afraid of anything. Now that I am older, new fears seem to creep in more and more often. For instance, I used to love flying. I was in the military and had to travel often, and now I have a fear of flying.
I also used to love heights. I used to live in Arizona, and the first time that I visited the Grand Canyon, I went right up to the edge! What a view, and what a thrill. But now, I am beginning to fear heights as well.
Do you guys find that your fears seem to grow as you get older?
A year ago, I thought it was a bad idea to raise AJ prices. However, after witnessing the demand that exists for royalty free music, I now realize that raising prices would be a good idea. Just look at how AJ and Envato in general has grown over the past year, and the quality of the tracks here just keeps getting better and better. I think it is time to give back to the authors who are supplying the product. As we all know, it’s not easy to put out a great product, yet AJ authors keep on doing it. And it is also time to let the World know that AJ is NOT substandard!
Here is one that may work. It is not available yet, but hopefully will be soon.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of the authors and the starter of this thred. I am about to purchase my first real orchestral library in January. I have a limited budget of around $1,000. Last year I became interested in Spitfire’s Albion. But as a beginner in the field of orchestral music, I may want to concentrate on a more useful library for somone with very few resources in the genre at the moment. East West Holywood Strings or Symphobia sound like my best bets. I have a feeling that a library with a “finished” sound will serve me best for the time being. Which one do you guys think I should start with?

Congrats,
I made a prediction last year about this time stating that Envato would have over 2,000,000 members by this time, this year. Congratulations Envato!
I see 5,000,000 by October 2013.
Hello,
This track starts off calm and builds up. The real culmination is in the latter part of the track where the drums pick up. What is cool about this one is that it comes in two flavors. One acoustic band version, and one with some electric guitar and leads.
