No, zip the un-watermarked WAV and MP3 files together and upload that zip file and the watermarked preview file. Then, select those files in the drop down menus, and then simply CTRL click both the MP3 and WAV text in the Audio Files Included section (so they are highlighted – you don’t select files there).
Yes, it’s confusing hey, and has caught out a number of people. The problem is that under the Audio Files Included section you need to CTRL+Click on the MP3 and WAV text to the right so they are highlighted. It’s a UX design error IMO, and these should be changed to check boxes so that it is obvious what you have to do.
Thanks for the info and good luck with your adventures here!
Great thread guys! I’m on my mobile winging my way to Tokyo on a bullet train so a quickly from me. Agree with gareth that old unsold files should be culled but as mentioned would be a massive undertaking.
I also see multiple sales in a shirt burst if time. Maybe it’s time tivroll out the new shopping cart to make it easier to buy multiple items?
Thanks for the response madlep. It’s great to hear that the dev team have plans, and look forward to a different weighting to keywords over titles for AJ!
I’d also like to add my voice to the often requested point that names should have little to no relevance to the search heuristics. I’v found myself resorting to totally generic names now as using anything imaginative results in zero hits.
Nicely put Sasha. The dev team need to be given the opportunity to experiment otherwise they will never gain any meaningful information. Things always even themselves out over time so I think it’s time to just chill.
Agreed. One thing that also gets my goat is posts that are clearly in the wrong section, like item feedback, my song is rejected, and off topic threads to name but a few. Maybe it’s lack of visibility, and people assume that the main AJ section is the place to post? I think that a VST/instrument section would be a good addition though.
