This has been my best month on AJ in18 months but I mainly put that down to me uploading several tracks recently. Whatever the reason, I’m happy. Only a few more sales to reach 200
Ah yes, sorry, items. My bad. I’m not familiar with the rules for source files. Technically I don’t see an issue providing your own source audio but, as you mention, it could open up issues with people providing third party samples. I had a quick look around the submission guidelines and couldn’t find anything about this.
You can include up to 5 songs per item (the main track and 4 variations). These could be for, say, the song minus the lead instruments, drums and percussion only, etc… so it’s really up to you how fine grain you want to go. Some sample libraries’ license agreement do not allow you to use their sounds in isolation – be it one-shot or a complex melody, so you should check into that if you are using those. Obviously, not an issue if you are using you own custom sounds *)
Congrats! Your next 100 is a stone throw away.
I see Gareth is sporting his new Reviewer tag Congrats!
Congrats man! Fatherhood is something hey!
I have the MK1 (second revision) version and think it’s awesome but have to say I’m jealous of anyone who gets the new version! LOL
That’s awesome man. Congrats!
Yes, it definitely worth the effort if you have the spare time. I’ve been remixing and mastering my old tracks when I have the chance but always put priority on newer tracks as they get more “airtime” than older tracks so it’s a balancing act of effort vs reward.
Hey, no problem. The main issue is that that section of the UI gives no real indication that you must select the MP3 and/or WAV items. It’s poor UX design. Checkboxes would make it clear that you should select something. As it stands, it looks like it’s already assigned MP3 and WAV files.
