Congrats on being featured! I had a song featured about a year ago but it didn’t generate any sales but did generate a lot of traffic. I think my track has merit but just isn’t what AJ buyers are looking for. I guess you are experiencing a similar scenario? It was also featured when I was new to the stock music works and would probably have done better if it happened 6 months or so into my AJ venture. Good luck and I hope you get the sales you deserve

You most likely know this already but Heavyocity have sales periodically (50% off) so you probalby want to just purchase what you really need now and keep an eye on that.

Hey SkyP – thanks for sharing! Don’t worry – your time will come. It may take some time but it will. Speaking form my own experience, I know this to be true. I started out my career as a musician for computer game, way back in 1987, writing music for the Commodore 64. I then shifted to working as a programmer, and have done ever since. Don’t get me wrong I love it…but have always had a passion for music since as long as I can recall and always dabbled on-and-off over the years. A couple of years ago I got back into it more seriously after discovering AJ and things are slowly progressing, and I hope to ramp it up in the future. The note in the video about not following the money but to instead follow your passion especially resonates with me. In fact, I’m moving to Japan next week indefinitely to do this. My income will be halved but my creativity will be doubled (or more!) and my passion will be sky high. It’s a choice I’m consciously making. Keep your goals in mind and they will come to fruition. Sorry for the ramble!

Congrats guys! Although your cut per sale is low, if it sells like hotcakes like in the past, you will end up making a really nice bit of income from this. For newcomers, this will be WAY higher than from a years worth of sales. I know from personal experience! Good luck!
