Likewise, I still see healthy sales on my back catalog items. I think it’s a combination of consumers bookmarking tracks, searching for a specific sound/style, or randomly stumbling upon them. A track should never be considered old, as they are there ready and waiting to be found fro the right project.
That’s awesome. Congrats man!
I also mix as I compose as I find it quicker and more convenient, and gives me a better picture of the final sound. I’ll still go through a mix stage but its a faster process as I’ve incrementally tweaked already.
I don’t think percussion is a category, just as piano, organ, cello or any other instrument isn’t. Categories are for music styles.
I’d like to nominate Fresh Start by TacoMusic. I”m actually really surprised that he hasnt been featured yet, so hopefully this is the one!

Hi,
There’s plenty of cinematic epicness in this collection to choose from.

Long time no see, Gari. How’s your new life in Japan going on? Do you like it?
Some time ago I was wondering, why we had practically no one from this country, well, now we have one more author from there )
Hi! Thanks for asking. I don”t want to derail this thread so I’ll keep it short. We moved at the beginning of March, so I’ve been really busy, hence my scarceness on the forum. Things are settling down and I have an albums worth of tracks which will soon be ready to release.
Feel free to contact me direct or start a new thread if you”d like to know more.
Cheers, Gari
I had an item featured but although I had a LOT of views, it did’t generate any sales at all. I think the main reason was because the track wasn’t commercial enough. I think it’s a great piece, and has sold for large amounts elsewhere but I don’t think it fits in with customer needs on AJ. Hopefully I’ll have the opportunity to feature one of my cinematic tracks or be a featured author but there’s a lot of heads and a small amount of spots.
