Thanks for the suggestions.
I think Impact Designer looks really interesting. Most of what I see, however, is stuff where you are just getting another sound designer’s sound. I guess I’m looking more for programs where you can take your own recorded samples, or a combination of synthesizers and effects, and make your own custom sounds. Basically, I want to create what those sound designers are selling in your links. I’m not sure if it’s okay to take what they have made, then make my own sound effects and sell them as individual sound effects. Or am I wrong? Certainly you can use them in your music, but is it okay to make custom sound effects from another person’s custom sounds and sell them as your own?I really appreciate the posts, thanks!
Camel Audio Alchemy allows you to import your own sounds. It is an amazingly powerful synth.http://www.camelaudio.com/Alchemy.php
Indeed. Amazing tool for sound design
Do not worry! Usually July and December are slowest months everywhere on stock sites.
No1 – very needed – often when asked to modify sfx I waste a lot of time to find an original file.
Reviewer always may send you additional message with reviewing note. Some reviewers do this often some very rarely. this one it’s BC’s style…. just human touch of reviewing system. Smile!
Regular licenses are so cheap that I can’t imagine lowering them more. Maybe extended licenses for 3 x regular price instead of 5 x.
Greetings for all live performers!
Few years ago it was possible, now it’s not allowed. Who didn’t change their gif still has it
Think I’m gonna pass this this time, because otherwise I’d probably be stepping through sounds and presets for the rest of the summer
So I’ll wait for the offers towards Xmas. What I might consider is upgrading to SampleTank 3. That’s just 79,- € and the sounds I heard from the Jordan Rudess demos sound pretty decent….but then again, I guess Jordan Rudess could make even Windows GM MIDI presets sound great, lol.
How about you guys, anyone tempted to upgrade to ST3?
That’s what I’ve done. Passed with NI but ordered upgrade for ST3 which is more usable for me
If you think they are good just leave them. If you hear that they are worse that new stuff remove them.
Some stuff has limited usability and needs a time to gain a client, but often it’s an extended sale after months of waiting.
