@rayoflightt, thanks for your detailed answer! Now I really have something to take care of.
P.S. I used default content for OpenCart. I really think that adding custom images to template is cheating. Am i wrong?
@pebas, tnx, i’ll consider it. Actually, I’ve got pretty nice reviews in russian OpenCart community so I was a little bit confused with hard rejection. I’m here trying to find what was so terribly wrong in my theme so I can avoid it in future. To be honest I didn’t get much yet. In some topics experienced users give some advices, in other topics they give opposite advices.
One way to be more objective and avoid ‘blind mode’ is to leave design away some time (4-5 days) and than come back to it.That sounds like a good lesson. And that is not:
The overall quality of your submission does not meet our aesthetic and technical requirements and will need to be improved before being resubmitted. Unfortunately we’re not able to provide more specific feedback for your submission at this time.
@manuelvega, you are totally right. Thx a lot!
@rayoflightt, I can hardly understand you but may be you are right and I just need a fresh look. Can you, please, point out some (at least one) basic mistake(s) so I can learn something?
So Reviewers helped you to improve your skills? Can you tell us more about it, please…
@Lesyah, thx for your reply, but i still hope that I’ve made some significant mistake which someone can point out. Otherwise it is senseless. For example today I saw Responsive HTML5 Minimalist Template on the homepage of ThemeForest. It doesn’t seem to have lots of details. It is just a “simple style” and I would like stick to it in my theme.
Note: I’ve got common (not soft) rejection.
ktmfreelancer, i’m newbie here as you are. I can help to find some issue, but I don’t know much about Reviewers…
It is realy nice.
