Your are absolutely right @horizonq8
However if we submit a basic plugin or theme we will be rejected because of the lack of features so what do we do add more stuff.
As a programmer I hate that too but I believe the reviewers should be educated that a simple and stable written plugin or theme is way better then a bloated theme or plugin. Also the Envato staff should be aware that the reviewers are acting this way and should open a discussion with them about a good policy.
Also the customers are to blame because mostly they ask for more features in a theme or plugin so it will be bloated later on.
So it is not easy to change this behaviour, but a good point for a discussion.
Same problem here. Looks like Envato has to solve this

I was wondering if Envato has any disclaimer if someone buys an app here. If so what do you think do we have to deliver a Disclaimer as well in the including package ?
For instance. I sell an app complete based on facebook. Now I think I need a diclaimer that I am not responsible for any changes facebook is making.
Do you deliver such disclaimers with your apps ?
Perhaps it would be nice to post some disclaimers we can use if we make apps which are using third party API’s
I just discovered when clicking on reply it shows the right mail address. So you can try that to.
Just read the http://marketblog.envato.com/releases/changes-api/ and see that current_commission_rate has been retired
But the “total_earnings” key to “available_earnings” isn’t showing in the json. Anyone knows why ? So retrieving the overall total amounts doesn’t show up.
The My Envato app has been build with Adobe Air and I don’t have such a program.
Any developer who can rebuild this app ? The source code can be found here https://github.com/gholme4/my-envato
@KingDog I was writing while you where posting
Recently My Envato ( http://me.georgeholmesii.com/my-envato/ ) isn’t working anymore for some fields
I tried to reach the developer but with no luck so I downloaded the source to check what is wrong
In the app there is a call to http://marketplace.envato.com/api/edge/' + storedUsername + ’/’ + storedKey + ’/account.json and this call is working
However I am missing 2 fields
1. The current_commission_rate (checking the json it is empty) 2. total_earnings and balance has the same amount and there for I get an error Total earnings $undefined
Is it correct that those fields are removed or is there something else going on ?
