Though, I have one question to ask, can I install on my current laptop some OS similar to what Mac has ? I want to get used to the interface before buying the Mac
You could get Rocket Dock to simulate the icon bar: http://rocketdock.com/ or follow this: http://www.engadget.com/2004/06/09/turn-your-pc-into-a-mac/
I did, but my question is can you give up the preinstalled OS that Mac has and install your own, and if so, wouldn’t there be any problems ? And also can you remove the dock menu that all Mac have ?
OSX comes with a utility called Boot Camp. What it does is creates a partition on your hard drive from which you install Windows on. I did it with my iMac and it was incredibly easy. You can make the partition as big as you like and install Windows XP, Vista, or 7 (maybe the new 8 dev preview as well?)\
But to be honest, if i understood your question correctly, there really is no point in buying a Mac if all you’re going to do is use it for Windows.
One thing that caught my eye was that under the BF3 beta part, with parallel universes and “What is Fire?” the written by SuperUser part is on the next line for no apparent reason even though it is exactly the same titles as the other articles. I’m on Chrome and haven’t checked it in other browsers.
Nope, this is the only place.
You have to unzip the theme first and upload only the essential theme files. Inside the zip you will find all the documentation you need.
I am getting away from cod. It isn’t nearly as fun now because they took away the ability to map and mod the game. Bf3 has much more staying power. I have been having trouble buying bf3 as well. I have been trying for two days to get it from origin but the purchase won’t go through. I have been waiting for over an hour to talk to their customer service. I doubt they will be able to help. I don’t know where else to buy it so that I can download it and play on thursday
You don’t have to have purchased the game to play it on Thursday. It is an open beta meaning it is for the general public to play even if you haven’t purchased it. After the beta if you like the game you can purchase it anywhere you like.
I’d be down for some games starting Thursday. Have to see how my subpar laptop will handle it though, just BARELY scrapes by the minimum requirements.
For grids, the 960 grid system is by far the most popular grid used and it is really helpful. Download/more info here: http://960.gs/
As far as organizing goes, just organize it like you would any other site. Make sure every layer has a name and that it is helpful but not too long. You can go as crazy as you want or as lenient as you want when it comes to grouping. What helps is to create a group for header, body, and footer on each page. Then inside that, group together maybe your nav, different layouts, etc.
As far as what to include, you CAN ’T include anything you don’t have the rights to distribute. So if you download some free images for use in your template, you can include those on the preview page but you can’t include them in your actual download.
