Yeah. I know 2-3 more ways to do it myself. Everyone has its own way of achieving this. I just didn’t know how to call this trend in an article.
I’m not interested in the logo, but the background image. It has a red overlay over it. I want to know if there’s a professional name for this effect (overlaying a color over the image)?
I don’t think that website’s theme has been bought from here.
She obviously can afford a professional design company to run and manage her website 24 hours a day.
You should look for alternative looking themes in TF’s photography and portfolio themes category.
CS6 will still exist. Don’t panic.
New features will only be added to CC.
PS: there are plenty of pretty good PS alternatives these days. You don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars for doing bland things other 20$ software does.
I had a true crisis yesterday. Fortunately I found a service that could handle my 4000+ feeds :))
Most “so-called” alternatives are very limited and laggy.
Thank God for Feedly. Will see pretty soon how their own platform will replace Reader’s.

For such prices i’ll just forget about it… People offfered me for 1k$ ppd project which would be much more usefull as this would be non profit for me i guess
Based on your reply I can tell you never dealt with an online project.
For a professional service, with protection against security attacks and payment frauds, $1,000 is a mockery. Companies that create rock-solid websites, THE BASE FOR YOUR BUSINESS , will charge you $1,000 just for analysis and mock-ups.
My company did an online jobs portal for $20,000 and that’s where I would estimate this project also. Maybe less, at $15,000. (We are not interested BTW )
Unless you want to deal with later bugs and future issues yourself.
PS: Personal advice. If you get a quota in your future and you don’t get maintenance fees and costs for future bugs or future support, the company your dealing is a scam and the final product will cause you lots of problems and you may loose clients or your entire business. So don’t even bother. If you’re not willing to invest solid money just like in a real business, you won’t be able to make a buck on the Internet as well.
