Big companies main concern is to get their websites working in any environment (operating system, browser, javascript on/off etc ) not necessary to make the websites validate.
I have seen an presentation made by a yahoo front end designer and one of the ideas was progressive enhancement ( offering content and functionality depending on the users browser capability) and the second was the fact that they still support as low as Internet Explorer 4 ! and hacks are required to do this..
So rest assured that even if they don’t validate, those sites work in any browser. I find that better then saying that a website is valid but it doesn’t work in Internet Explorer 6…

Add my dislike to the border also – it adds nothing so why add it?
+1 Agreed.
What bugs me the most is the preview image resize.
For graphicriver items which have very long item previews it makes sense but for themeforest where the size is fixed it does not.
I usually try to keep to myself and respect the changes made but with this one I keep going back to my item previews and have the feeling they look horrible the way they are scaled down. The text is hard to read as well. I’m really afraid that it will hurt sales.
I hope this change is reverted or at least we get an official response on the matter

... I personally don’t like it.
With the item preview being scaled down because of the border, the item preview doesn’t look crisp anymore therefore having a negative affect on the presentation.
I also don’t see the point of it being there. Or if it must be there why can’t it be added without resizing the image?

I’m a little disappointed with the mouse mainly because it is too small for my hand. Precision isn’t the best possible as well but I think it is enough for what I need.Sounds like mine… so although it looks good, I think I’ll pass this kit too…
Please DO post more feedback after some coding/Photoshop work. I’m looking to buy one too, but that’s not the feedback I was hoping for
Thanks!
Ok, I’m done coding for the day. My final assessment of the Logitech wireless Combo MK520 is that it is good overall and for 60 euros is a great deal. I like the way the keyboard buttons feel to the touch. The mouse is still a little small but its precision is acceptable.

I just bought an Logitech wireless Combo MK520 and am pretty happy with the kit.How good is the mouse? I have a Logitech wireless kit (forgot the name, have it back in my hometown), but the mouse is CRAP ! (keyboard isn’t very nice either)
It is not the best out there but for 60 euro’s I don’t think you can get something much better.
I’m happy with the keyboard buttons – quality materials and they don’t have that annoying sound when pressed that very cheap ones have. I haven’t coded with it yet, I’ll have an long coding session tomorrow and write with some feedback.

DD it’s worth mentioning that you are referring to the author with the most sales in October.
Congrats TemplateSquare
Congrats to peerapong as well
He is on fire right now – 16 files and almost 2000 sales in 4 months. He is my favorite new author. I’m really feeling inspired to take it up a notch and finish the projects I’m working on and launch them.

I though you weren’t suppose to promote items in the forums?![]()
Hey bitpub you’re correct man however those are not my files, the rule is very specific.
“Because of the commercial nature of the Envato networks, authors are expected to understand and respect the fact that using the forum to post links to one’s own items, or to give away free files to the community, is not allowed.”Hey Ivor you know as well as me that this rule can be abused with people having several accounts / asking friends to add links to your item and the sorts. For this reason I feel that links should be left for the item discussion category since it is allowed there.
The fairest possible way of handling it would have been to move it to item discussion (since this is the topic of the thread as well + you can do that as a Mod) and then post the links.
That was my first impression and wanted to voice it.
Sorry for the hijack, please carry on guys.
Edit 1: If you are wondering I didn’t flag your comment, but I guess you already know that as the system shows you who flagged comments
Edit 2: jonathan01 I have nothing personal against you, I really like your portfolio, but i think a MOD should be equally distanced from every author. But maybe I’m wrong
Hey man – no worries – I didn’t do / say anything
I just thought it was funny someone reported the links – but yet they were already quoted so it kinda didn’t mean anything – I have no issues with anyone – keep me out of any battles please – it’s one of the reasons I haven’t been participating in the forums for almost 6 months because I got tired of the playground attitudes of many authors.
I agree with you 100% jonathan01 – I don’t want to be caught up in any battles myself and that is the same reason why I haven’t been participating as well in the forums in the latest months.
I made a promise to myself to keep my opinions about some sensitive topics to myself and go about my business ( try and make as many awesome themes as possible) but old habits die hard I guess
Again, I have nothing against you, I find your work inspiring as a matter of fact so if I came off that way i would like to offer an apology.
