What I want to know is what is the situation with the Request Staff Reply link?

I have used it now and 3 times in the past and have never received a staff response! Is it only optional or what?

Things sure have changed. I remember times when Collis personally responded to my tweets and messages and now I cannot get an answer from the staff. I guess I will send my questions through a ticket maybe i can get an answer that way.

Rest assured that comments and discussion on this thread have been read. We may not be able to respond to every comment, but that doesn’t mean they are not being read :)

The sites have grown tremendously since the days when Collis could respond to tweets, but he is still very much aware of every feature and initiative we implement. And he is still a very hands on guy. But I’m sure we’d all like to see him try and work less when he goes on holiday :D

Ok, I appreciate the response. I know Collis is a stand up guy, what I was saying is that now that things are more structured and more people are involved things sometimes take more time than what I would like / was accustomed to.

But I still have one question unanswered. And my whole strategy depends on that answer.

I will repeat the question in the hopes to get an official answer.

Regarding 3rd party plugins

If for example my theme uses a customized version of Visual Composer and the version is 4.5.x and in the meantime 4.6.x comes along but 4.5.x still works fine with the current WordPress version ( and doesn’t have vulnerabilities ) am I forced by the support policy to update to the newer version?

I have some questions:

1. How will disputes be settled?

From my experience I know that sometimes I couldn’t find a way to help customers ( very unlikely but still it happened). Or what is the customer is not happy with the support received? What will happen then?

2. What happens with the support requests when you are on a author vacation?

Bottom line is I am trying to download some items I have purchased and I am getting speed of only 300kb while I have a 10Megabit connection. What is happening, I can’t wait 40 minutes for a item to download!

This situation has been going on for weeks. Did anybody else experience it?

Hello,

I improved my item description to a more appealing ( I would say :) ) one with images and text next to them. I marked it up using tables and the result came out great on Firefox and Internet Explorer. But on Chrome it shrinks the images and I can’t figure out why. Can somebody give me a hand?

People rip preview of html themes and they have bots that automatically harvest new TF items. That is why you will find rips in hours of release, even for files without purchase.

That is why I recommend you twist the preview code to a degree to make it useless to try to use it to make a website from it and add a link to where they can buy it as a comment in every page. You can put up a sample of the html code and css code in the screenshots section.
