Hey Luke, Nice you found AJ. Have a lot of fun here. Your portfolio picture is full of impact by the way. Steven
Last week my company needed music for a corporate video and wanted me to do a research. Guess where I was looking for music After I was done (I put all tracks I liked so far in a collection) I realized that I had to download one after another. There where many tracks and I thought of a feature where I could select all or just some of my items to download or even to share a collection or part of to my colleagues or the customer (via E-Mail or whatever).
The same applies when I want to purchase several items (even within several marketplaces) – there is no shopping card to put them into, isn’t there? You buy one item after another.
All of this would boost the costumer experience here on AJ in a positive way.
All the best, Steven
Really cool thoughts on this topic – I most appreciate the diversity of all of your posts.
And for all of you out there whose are unhappy or at least from their perspective, listen to the music here and become happy. Cheers Steven
I enjoy the conversation a lot. Thanks to all of you!!!
@Tim: Wow, how could I put it better. As SoundFix I really like when you say “I simply admire and appreciate” and “Alternately, inspiration is the fruit of admiration”. So true and poetic at the same time. One can see that you are a songwriter. Yeah there is always someone greater no matter what you do.
@JonBuice:Yes comparing to improve puts it in a good direction.
@Waderman:When my daughter (20months) first listened to my songs about 4 weeks ago I was so delighted that she wanted to hear more and more of them. She maybe is quite a bit away from being a real advisor
@west-sonds:+1 And when I get you right I would add – do what you like and like what you do! Thanks.
@Music-Smith: +2 Without AJ I wouldn’t be where I am now in Terms of skills and musical training – It just kept me going. It’s kind of Mini-Goals you have to accomplish.
I’m by no means unhappy with being here at AJ. I have my own pace. It’s like a game. for instance every time I got my songs approved I’m very happy. Another insight is to accept where you are and accepting your limitations but going on to extend them and fresh input.
Regards to all, Steven
Good one. Some nice ideas in here. Like it. Thanks!
What is happiness? I was questioning that myself recently and put in a specific direction – towards Audiojungle. What I mean is: Does one get happier by comparing ourselves to other authors here on the marketplace? Does it frustrate you to see sales of successful authors and how well some are doing just after a couple of months? Or does it boost your motivation to become better? Isn’t it even best to concentrate on you on your own talent?
For me it’s like a mix of it. Sometimes I find myself looking at some others portfolios and it makes me think of what their secret is of being successful or I’m just listening and learning (not copying by the way). I try to get better to reach a new level and get motivated to try out new things and techniques.
The AJ-Community is very helpfull on this and I like to be part of it. I try to go my way (maybe finding my own style) and not to compare too often and too hard I think it’s a good way to get lucky.
What do you think? Do you care about the competition? Are you happy?
A fresh approach to finding music easily. Like it.
Welcome and all the best with your music and sales.
Congratulations from the neighborhood.
