I don’t work full time for graphicriver but I am a full time freelancer. You pay you income tax like for every other income. You have to declare your income in your annual tax return (you probably have to make an “Einnahmen-Überschuss-Rechnung” in which you also state all your expenses like software, computer…). The only difference compared to the income you have in Germany is that the sales you get from envato are “nicht steuerbare Umsätze” which means that you don’t have to pay the sales tax for them. However, you have to declare them as “nicht steuerbare Umsätze” in your “Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung” if you are not a “Kleinunternehmer”. Quite complex subject, I hope it helps a bit but I am not an expert, so no guarantee that all this is correct
Wow, very interesting from how many different fields you all found you way to the marketplace I studied french linguistics (major), british literature and business studies (minor) in Hamburg, Germany and after the bachelor I went to a private graphic design school that I finished in 2005 with a more or less worthless certificate
Congrats to you all, well deserved I was so excited to see the new list but I am not even on it (Graphicriver) Had 57 sales in August but unfortunately I had my first sale in the last week of July so that’s probably the reason why I am not a “new author” in August anymore ;( strange system
My first entry
I don’t really have an example logo but perhaps this helps: an allegory is some sort of symbol to illustrate an abstract issue. If – for example – you want to create a logo for a lawyer, justitia (the roman goddess with the balance in her hand) would be an appropriate allegory symbolizing justice.
