Please don’t use something generic like
Mozilla. Put your name / website address in the User Agent field so Envato can identify who is accessing the system.
It wasnt working and tried nearly every combination turned out that user agent was not set. Yes, I have now pushed proper app name
Solved.. Turned out that the USer agent was not set but still for the first request API was returning the response. Working fine..
madlep saidI am facing issue but it’s random. Trying to access via nodejs the following: http://marketplace.envato.com/api/edge/popular:activeden.json
I’m having this exact same issue.
madlep, Can you check the blacklist for 220.127.116.11Thanks!
I just checked the firewall, it hasn’t been blocked there. What error are you seeing come back from the API? Are you getting a network connection issue, or are you seeing an HTTP error code instead, or some other problem?
Sometimes it works but after 3-4 successful attempts it returns the following: “All API requests requires user agent to be set.
I am passing the following User Agent: ‘user-agent’: “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0”
Please could you share more details via my profile. I will quote you. Thanks
