That’s just something Envato would never do. This is stock market, and it sells stock footage and all related to video production. Nobody knows when and how much an item will sell, so there will be no such thing as temp. Also, when someone do video production professionaly, he would want to do it properly. He would like to obtain proper licence for footage he includes in videos he produce. For timelapse category- authors will make it as any other footage, with timelapse added to name and tags. Buyers usually finds footage here by using search, because he define what he needs in that search field. Also, this sentence don’t make any sense: “My suggestion is let an author create a temp category and if envato likes it, make it perm.”
” Also a section or category where someone request a specific footage and ready to buy providing meets the
specs. Then the vid producer can upload it and sell it. Posting it in the forum gets lost.”
Why would anyone wait for author to make that footage, and also, why would author do that only when hes asked. If I can’t find footage here, I’ll search on other stock sites.
To make such footages, authors usually need to setup lights, scenes, and many other things. And they wouldn’t do it for few bucks that those buyers would be willing to spend.
But, maybe I’m wrong

Funny like everybody finds every new OS to be fast until they installed gazillions of programs suddenly they realize that the fast horse turns into a crawling turtle.
I actually installed it as upgrade for my windows7 on my three years old laptop. It took a while (about 2 hours) to install, but thats because I choosed to keep all programs and files. Everything works fine, but first few minutes was slow as hell, probably because it was loading all that programs and files. Don’t know why, but I liked Developer preview more. Overal, it’s good. I cant wait to make some money here on Envato and buy win8 tablet.

On the Mac quotes above, I’ve always been told that Macs are better for music and video production, but never had enough money to buy a good one. So I’ve stuck with Windows for now, and I’m really happy with Windows 7. But I would love to try a Mac one day. The only thing that holds me back is how propriatary Mac and especially Apple is. I have a lot of programs and softare in my studio that can’t be used on a Mac. Apple wants you to buy all there stuff and they are doing a heck of a job making sure that will happen if you buy a Mac.
you can buy OSX installation (about $40) and install it on any pc based on intel platform. That’s how I’m rolling. Installed on separate hdd, i7 2600k procesor, 16gb ram, ati 6770 graphic card, and windows 7 on another hdd. After I switched to OSX , I go to Windows only for games. I hated Mac’s and Apple, untill I went to study audio & video technology. It’s not private school, yet classrooms and studio’s are filled with Mac’s. Macola server, also, one that’s used in Hollywood studios. Then I fell in love with Apple, and got myself an iPad2. Mac computer is a lot expensive for me, so I made Hackintosh. It legal, so try it, there are many sites with tutorials on that subject.
It’s fast as hell! I liked more that mouse gesture for switching apps from developer preview, corners hotspots are little lame. Pulling out from sides are much better solution for me.
Why would that bother you at all? They follow you as any other person would, no mather what marketplace they are coming from. And one more thing : you have better chances selling your work to authors from other marketplaces. So let it be as it is…
I would prefer lots of followers, cause I could only gain from that, not loose
Try enabling “Use OpenGL renderer” in Render Settings on Render Queue tab. That helped me few times when AE started crashing for one project.
Nice video, but I think that mods will delete or lock thread because self promotion is not allowed on forums. Congratulations, though.
Yep, it’s true. Thanks BoostShock for finding this for us. DefInitely will be usefull
Welcome to hell called “reviewing”
I bet it won’t be easy at all. I wish you luck, Envato made great choice!
