I was rated 1 start with of this reason:
“I don’t know how to code, so can do much customization”
For sure buyer never contacted me, I don’t think their is way to handle these type of customers.
I have not gone through all the comments.
Every thing looks ok to me.
Authors will receive 70% of the total price of a support extension regardless of their exclusivity or all-time sales.
Why envato is keeping 30% from the support service ?
Is envato going to implement some kind support or issue tool ? Support tool like forum for each product that a buyers and author can see. Issues tools like (GIT) ?

Sometime with update many internal things get changed that can’t be patched but require fresh install .
I don’t think 4-5 GB bandwidth of data now days consider as huge.
You can backup song, videos on your hard drive before update.
+ You always have option to update or not update
It’s no commission but it’s fee.
Previously they called it commission now they have changed it to fee. So envato is taking commission from your fee.
I personally don’t think this should be a priority in the least. There’s mountains of UI/X problems, the new “faceted search” is a mess, reviews are STILL not public (what use are they even), and not to mention all this tax/commission/fee changing stuff that’s going on. After all that is touched on and addressed, I’d say they really need to focus on finding the best converting item profile designs and pull Envato back to this age of design and functionality…. Maybe then they can work on responsiveness – though I suspect not many people will buy goods from their phone.
