Hi there, guys. I just want to say that I understand your disappointment. In a 2 or 3 years everyone of us is going to be elite author or like that. But the truth is that audiojungle is a competition of hundreds of good authors (many of them extremely talented and gifted). The reviewers try to highlight some of newbies or good unknown musicians posting them or their songs to main page. But sometimes it’s not enough. Buyers more often look through bestselles to save the time (as actually I do when looking for photodune picture or videohive template). The name and elite badge matters here.
From the other side some of new guys here have good enough sales, up to 1000 in a year or more. I don’t know all the reasons why but I have few assumption. 1. As is said above the point is to write commercial music, (not experimental music, not for listening or for yourself). And the main categories are still motivational, symphonic-cinematic, folk. 2. It’s definitely important to be “visible” by posting new themes at least 1 or 2 times per week (as elite authors actually do). 3. To have promotional program via youtube and so on (as elite authors actually do). 4. To improve quality of your tracks by training ears and buying gears.
Of course guys all that things are obvious for us and we still wonder why we haven’t a plenty of sales. Because the main reason (as I’ve noticed for half a year being here) is to be loved by videhivers and be in contact with them!
Well we won’t give up. We will work hard. And I still believe we will have silver paw one day!
Hi. I think the only way to do this is to send a message to reviewer in the track edit page. Try.
You’ll have good time this week! Enjoy!
Congrats, And I wish you good week!
You can create your own collections by genres (the link is right next to the “Bookmark this” button).
However, I don’t believe that you can create a collection within a collection, so you raise a good point. I am sure the staff will take notice of your remarks and work a solution.
In the meantime, you can download preview files and arrange them as you see fit on your computer. Not handy but that would do the trick. Don’t forget to rename the previews though or they will all have the same name (preview.mp3).
Unfortunately, this does not apply to sound effects.
Hope this helps!
+1 Good advises.
KabbalisticVillage, do you want good sales? – upload a lot of clapping ukulele tracks! I’m serious, though it sounds funny. Everyone of dozens of my “happy ukulele” items was sold and some perfect ones of other styles not. That’s the truth of AudioJungle.
Ha-ha. The second one is better!
Yes. It’s definitely better to prepare several variations of the one piece of music. And a loop version (or few) among them. Such items look more usable for the customer/buyer. I often try to make version about 1 minute length and a full version (2-3 minutes).
