Technically it’s only the end of the mobile Flash player.

Let’s not plan the Flash funeral quite yet. :)

I don’t think it would be useless. What about if you plan to load in a flash carousel that you bought into a parent swf container. The child carousel swf will absorb the parent’s frame rate, and if they are dramatically different, the carousel could be super slow, or crazy fast.

I think it would be great to have an FPS field for each Flash item on ActiveDen. Most authors include the fps in the description, but it would be nice if it were required. This is crucial when purchasing, sometimes it can be a pain to adjust the fps of an item, because then all the animations need to be slowed down / sped up.

Thoughts?

Hello helpful AD members,

I am looking for an actionscript 3 video player that plays external swfs, not flvs.

The standard play, pause, rewind, fast-forward buttons are required.

Can anyone here point me towards a good one on the AD marketplace?

Thanks for any assistance,

Yeah, I understand the concept, but sorry I’m a dummy. :)

I need to see some example code or an existing tutorial out there.

Hello All!

Does anyone here know of a good online resource that covers the importing of an external as3 swf, and controlling it? I.e. fast forwarding, pausing, stopping, etc.

Thanks for any help,

Yeah, those were dummy numbers. My actual swf size is 400 by 550.

I emailed you, Pez.
