Awesome job, Jeff. Well done!
So, I just searched for the word ‘inspirational’ and I’m amazed to find that Flossie’s track called ‘Inspirational Days” does not show up.
Really? This track has sold 20+ times in the last 5 days, is trending, and is right on the front page. Yet when you search the keyword it doesn’t show up. Granted I only looked at the first 6-7 pages of results but nobody goes beyond 2-3 pages anyway. This makes no sense. Can someone please explain?
Unfortunately, Flossie would have a much better search result by getting rid of “Days.” Some of the top selling songs didn’t really blow up in the current system until the authors got less creative with their song names (and dropped a word or two). This is just the way it is right now.
This is a great step forward for sure! I look forward to when additional options are added to enhance the drill-down abilities beyond the basic pre-existing categories on AudioJungle.
Searching by track length is needed, but however that is implemented definitely needs to address the fact that longer tracks could have shorter versions included in the zip – can’t leave out those! Perhaps checkboxes are needed in the item edit page for :30 and :60 edits? Also, add me to the list of those hoping the faceted search will soon work within authors’ individual portfolios. Great work
^ Has referred at least 1 person to the Envato Market. Thanks for doing your small part to help keep this market growing.
That was quick! Thanks, Envato!
I can confirm as well – ratings are really hard to come by these days.
+1 Plenty of elite authors speaking up! They have enough data to really tell a difference. Thanks for speaking up! With all the changes happening around the marketplace (errr… I mean Market), I’m pretty positive something will probably be addressed about this soon. We’ll see!
