Good point… but at the moment there are no valuable options to Adobe softwares… (please don’t say GIMP)
GIMP is making some progress. Some veeeeeery slow progress. I was thinking of new apps like Krita ( http://krita.org/ ). It’s more on the digital painting side, but has enough tools to do anything. Too bad it’s linux only ATM.
There’s also Acorn (http://www.flyingmeat.com/acorn/) and Pixelmator ( http://www.pixelmator.com/ ) for OS X, they’re commercial but cheap enough.
This is a huge chance for opensource projects and indie developers. I hope Envato starts supporting more non-adobe software soon
.
Spend time learning the keyboard shortcuts. Specially P / S / T / U.
Welcome Pete!
I don’t share my account, but that sounds and looks great. Congrats guys!
Congrats man! Now get ready for the thrill of your first sale
The logos look similar, but the brand identity is completely different. I think that is the “official” limit, the real one is how much money you can throw at lawyers
There’s also a texture category in 3D Ocean (if they are seamless)
Congrats! Best wishes for the future
