i would be more happy if Envato could work more on file reviews…. important is for me to check file fast as possible not white background. sorry if i’m saying something wrong. but 1 business card doesn’t need i think 5-... Days. i would leave grey color on background for info.
I hope this isn’t taken the wrong way and of course, this is my personal opinion:
There are tons of people at Envato chunked into oh-so-many teams. Just because one team is working on something doesn’t mean all of Envato isn’t doing anything else.
Could please someone elaborate this to me:Themes are not permitted to add options that define the number of posts to show on archive or category pages via a global setting.I am using the Gantry Framework and this is the integrated part of the framework to set the number of posts in Blog view, Category View, Archive View and you can do an override by category based for example some categories can have 10 post per page and some 20. Why is this setting so important that the theme will not pass the review?
I’ll follow up with the review team on this but overall I think that it interferes with third party code. I’ll post back in a bit.
I need to ask because I cannot see any clear declaration on this topic elsewhere.
Is this allowed to use code which requires PHP 5.3?( namespaces, DIR magic etc. )
As long as this requirement is clearly noted, I don’t see why not. The newer versions of PHP bring a lot of niceties that I think will benefit a lot authors.
nilmusiq saidNot all. The list of what is accepted and what’s not has been listed and disseminated earlier. My Google-fu is a little weak—I’m trying to find the exact link as we speak. I’ll post back in a second.
do we need to make all shortcodes as plugin
nilmusiq saidIdeally, yes. This way the user will still have access to all his/her data.
what abt custom posttype do we have to make that also as plugin.
nilmusiq saidNo, it’s recommended to use TGM or an alternative for dependency management.
can we include plugins in seperate folder without using tgm.
