Awesome, you’ve got some brilliant work here, and you’ve made a good amount of money in a short time!
You’ll be one of the great authors of GraphicRiver I think!
Congratulations, and good luck for the future,
Hmm, July was my first month, so I have no idea. My sales were lovely for a first month I guess.
Wow, you’ve made a huge number of sales in such a short space of time! Wish you the best for the future!
I can truly understand your frustration at this eventuality, I’m sure that I would be extremely annoyed, and I know that the others in that situation were extremely frustrated.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure what I can suggest as a course of action that could help your predicament. I think that contacting support would be a beneficial avenue to take until we are able to discover why they feel that the prior made items have the right to monopolise.
But as I’ve said, Envato is a unique concept, and for the most part works extremely well, and I think that they will need to iron out some flaws for the good of the marketplaces.
If you are unable to get it onto the Envato marketplace, then I would strongly suggest that you follow Raincutter’s advice, and try to get noticed on sites like DeviantArt, or a design blog, as that has the potential to get your already existing items coverage and sales.
I hope this helped, if you want any more advice feel free to e-mail me!
P.S: Your portfolio is really good, you’re a very talented designer.
This in fact is a very common question/complaint on the Envato marketplace, as some say that only allowing those that first create a style to have that type of file, is monopolising that part of the market.
The main problem with something like this (i.e. the marketplace) is that it is new and therefore they need to see how it advances and make changes accordingly, an issue like this may force the marketplace to change, as it is mentioned so many times on different occasions.
With regards to your item, it does look very nice, and it’s a shame that it’s not been accepted on the marketplace.
People are quite helpful here, ain’t they?
Yes, indeed! This is possibly the most helpful community that I have experienced to date.
Agreed, the response was disgusting, and you do deserve a lot more from authors than that, especially since you are such a significant presence on the marketplace.
I hope that this issue can be resolved.
Wow, looks an extremely nice mouse, I would love one of those, be especially great for gaming, with the precision aim button.
One thing strikes me as odd is the “Zero-latency”, whilst it’s possible to reduce it a lot, zero is always impossible.
Firstly with regards to this author, I find it extremely strange that his file has been accepted without it being exactly what he has said that it would be. As Jack has said, this in itself is a support issue.
I also totally agree with you that the response that you have pasted here is totally unacceptable, and it does appear to be a juvenile response, written by someone that is already frustrated.
But, perhaps you are going in the wrong way about dealing with it? I presume that you have contacted support, but I think that this thread is likely to get heated quickly, and possible this situation might get out of control and end up with someone leaving, which we do not want to happen.
I also understand your shock analogy, and if we continue with it, then you would go to the manager and complain, and tell him what you feel the correct course of action would be. It’s unlikely you would stand outside the store and tell everyone going into the store what happened.
Now, I’m a relatively new author here, so I’m not entirely sure how the entire marketplace works yet, and it’s possible that I’ve misjudged/misunderstood the situation. But it seems to me that you are being somewhat unfair on all the other authors here. You have been a great asset to this marketplace, and I would hate to see you leave for something as small as this in comparison to all of the great work that goes on here.
Guys, please give one to chrisfay his EnvatoTracker works like a charm!
