damn…... awesome.. BTW how do they calculate the distance using light years?
I think they approximate it based on the wavelength of the emissions received. Because the universe is expanding, over time the waves are forced apart (i.e. the wavelength decreases), from this they can get an approximation of the speed of the galaxy (by comparing two waves) and the distance from us.
It’s amazing that you’ve finally got that badge Raincutter, as you know I’ve been following your work, and it’s been a real inspiration to a small designer like myself.
It’s really inspiring to see you getting that red badge, you really deserve it!
Thanks for notifying us about this Amanda, it’s great to be in a marketplace where we are notified about things.
Oh, ok, I was wrong.
Thanks for clarifying that Amanda. Does this mean that the price increments are going to take place across all of the marketplaces, or just GR and AJ?
If they were on AudioJungle then it it’s because they are doing a pricing experiment accross that entire marketplace, they feel that it is undervalued given similar items pricing.
EDIT : See this thread on AJ: http://audiojungle.net/forums/thread/testing-price-increments-on-audiojungle/29634
Yea, I agree with Raincutter, it’s probably due to the development that’s going on at the moment (according to the GraphicRiver twitter).
If you are having problems, just put the file extension at the end of the file name, this will allow you to open it up by default with your ZIP opening application. Or, you can just right-click on it (assuming you’re using windows here) and choose “open with…” then chose the application you normally use.
Hope this helped!
Wow, this thread is really informative, I never even knew that the euro symbol was copywrited. Thanks for clarifying that for me, and it’s great to hear that it’s acceptable to use it on GraphicRiver items.
Thanks for showing us your files. The files look good with soft, metallic gradients, and look well structured. However, they lack the feel that I feel they should have. Perhaps try to add some type of stroke to them, so they are more visible on all backgrounds.
I think that you have got off to a great start with this item, and I hope that you will be able to improve them so you we can see them approved for sale on the marketplace.
Yes, if you want objective and quality advice it is necessary that you post a preview image here, so we can give you suggestions etc. on what to improve so hopefully you can get your item approved for sale.
