Hi Cedric, I agree with delgibbons. Just a quick intro, my day job away from AudioJungle (which I am a newbie) is that of a Creative Director for a large health related organization among others and have been doing it for almost 20 years… one of my main responsibilities is to see over and communicate the brand of the company… I think you have a following already that is slowly building and by looking at some of your tracks, you will have many more to come… I say wait it out Cedric as SERFmusic, a brand is developed with patience, consistency and determination, it’s not a quick process. I would advise keeping the logo, when you have a following you are comfortable with, then maybe look at an update to the logo, but don’t change it so much where your clients get confused. Hope this helps somewhat.Hang in there as SERFmusic, keep the great tracks coming and market your brand everywhere.
Good luck.
I guess it’s never a bad thing to be reminded about “Patience” and waiting it out!
Thank you Scott for the advice and encouragement!
Thank you Del Gibbons and Dreamsonix for your input!
Hello my fellow authors!
I really want to hear your thoughts!
Right before I officially joined AJ, I decided to go with the brand of Sonic Expressions Royalty Free Music (SERFmusic for short). Long story short, I am taking some time to consider “re-branding” from SERFmusic and transition into just using my own name as a brand, which means a logo change.
I feel that since I am still relatively new and if I am going to change, then I need to do it now as a newbie.
What are your thoughts? Pros? Cons?
Thanks guys!
Awesomeness! Thank you Envato—
Wow Tortoise Tree, moving countries is definitely a good reason to lay off for a while. Thanks for sharing. Sometimes life just happens and we have to turn our attention else where periodically.
MValentino, thanks for the welcome back! I have noticed too that most of my tracks have barely gotten any views since i’ve stopped uploading with the exception of a few. I also had a videohive collab with my best selling track which has helped me stay afloat!
Hello AJ,
Man, I have been MIA for months now. The latter part of last year brought many unforeseen circumstances which has caused me to shift my focuses elsewhere. Long story short, I am ready to reconnect with my fellow AJ authors again!
Have any of you guys experienced this? Have you any of you guys experienced a time where you couldn’t upload for some period of time? How did it affect sales? I’m glad that i’ve still made some sales, but now i’m ready to step it back up!
Happy Jungle Birthday Phil.
You are awesome first as a person, and then as a musician/composer. “The Best is Yet to Come”
This is like, really, way, too…Awesome!
If i didn’t know any better, I would have thought those were life size rooms. Nice pics.
