I love Reason, not only because Propellerhead is swedish ;)

The main reason is how easy it is to work with it, at least when you get used to it. Since Propellerhead launched Recorder it’s now a complete DAW in itself. I do recommend using Rewire to connect it to your main DAW though. In Cubase it’s as easy as the click of a button. Might be more complicated in Pro Tools for instance.

I made my point, and that was a suggestion to lower the frequency.

Dear Russell!

It’s interesting to see that the few responses I get is either “funny” or “I don’t agree”. I’m quite surprised but perhaps I shouldn’t be.

As you kindly shared the hashtag we can talk about it openly. When I saw industry people started to talk about how annoying it was I made the decision to inform you about it. Naturally it was a request and nothing else.

and the hash tag your referring to is #gameaudio. i have gained a lot of contacts through using this trend and some new work.im sure there must be an effective way you can skip my tweets or block me. i have never actually seen an active post or campaign before to limit someones means of promotion etc but this has been a bit of a disappointment for me to read.as you sad yourself, very sad = yes, and funny? = not so much

Ahh, the great rethorics of twisting my words and turning them against me. Good job. I’m sorry that I made you so upset that you had to make such a long post about it. Let’s see now how long it takes before this thread is locked now.

I made my point, and that was a suggestion to lower the frequency.

Hi, I am new to Twitter and don’t really understand what you mean? I only ask in case I am doing it without knowing… I am going onto Twitter and looking at how other people “tweet” and basically doing the same… Twitter is a big learning curve for me. I am using hash tags i.e. #audiojungle… Is this what you mean? Cheers

Hey Richspeller!

I haven’t seen you at the specific hashtag so don’t worry. In hindsight I could have included some that I don’t refer to. To be little less vague, it’s an industry that I’m heavily involved in, and it’s not #audiojungle.

This post was not intended to keep from posting at all with certain hashtags, merely to limit the amount. I was hoping for a friendly discussion here about what would be considered spamming. A few of us were talking about it over Twitter a while back. There were different opinions, some said “not more than ones a day” and others talked about “not more than ones a week”. That is, promoting your product/service for the sake of it.

Chime in people! :)

[damn you wrong button]
So… you by mistake put a hashtag on twitter ?

Hahahahahaha! No.

Be nice, you’re a neighbour god damn you.

To be honest, some authors have contacted me in person and I’ve told them what this is about. Friends in the industry started tweeting to each other about how annoying it was and that’s the reason for this thread.
