Sorry, I should have been more clearly. There is my old file here, name’s “Christmas Backgrounds 2” I wrote that name once upon a time :( http://graphicriver.net/item/christmas-backgrounds-2/137055

If I wanna change of file name, it is not possible! because the system does not allow.

so, when I have tried upload my new file with some new infos, system gave me alert.

“Tags names can not be numbers”

but I did once upon a time! I think I caught a bug.

You didn’t caught a bug but the bug caught you. :D J/k

It’s not a bug. It’s possible that you could have inserted numbers in tags in past, but now you cannot. As simple as that. :)

+1 I think that you have right again.

Maybe now numbers in tags are not alowed.

Nope. I’m wrong. I just tried to add a number to tag and submitted for update and it went fine.

@Seyyahil: May be you just added ‘2’ as tag. Can you try adding it with a word? Something like ‘Christmas Background 2’?

So let me get this straight. The title of your item is ‘Christmas Backgrounds 2’, right? You need to update the tags and add a tag with 2 in it? If I’m right in understanding this, then you don’t have to add 2 in tags. I think the title of items here are searchable which means if there is ‘2’ in your title, you don’t need to add it in tags. Of course I can always be wrong with my opinions though (plus in understanding this topic). :D

But does he sell the exact same items? Or just other items? If I’m not mistaken exclusivity means that the items you have on Envato marketplaces can’t be sold in other places. But you can sell other items through other methods/marketplaces as long as they aren’t on any of the Envato marketplaces.

That’s what came to my mind and when I checked, he had exactly the same looking items in both the places. Of course, you can always change the names of your items and add/reduce a number of features but you still can’t sell anything that looks exactly the same as here.

Hey Chris, as I said before, I guess the best solution would be to get to talk to person in print industry who might have some idea about the banding issue while printing. You can also make the printer do a test print (not sure how much they charge for it though) and I’m pretty sure that will remove all doubts you have about it.

Anyway, it does seem possible that Adobe might have just implemented the 8-bit rendering in 16 bit due to performance issue. Still idiotic though. So many of us have been struggling with it since years now. For me, it’s become a matter of different monitors. Sometimes, it just fades away while other times it’s way too impactful, so I’ve learned to live with it. Dither in gradient fill layers works decent for me in most of my projects.

@Constantin: Thanks for the reply. I think it is possible that it might have vanished for you after some change in video related hardware. It’s quite strange if it just goes away like that. Could even be some kind of driver or update issue if that has happened.

I deleted a few of my items in past. I regret those decisions. That’s my personal opinion on this.

That was the main concern to me while I was creating files for GR in past since most of my files were print designs. Some of my items did have banding and I have always wondered if banding shows when the item is printed. Although I never got any mail from buyers if it caused any mess.

I personally believe that printing won’t show banding but I never witnessed it myself so it would still be a speculation on my side. I guess the best you can do is get information from someone knowledgeable who works in printing industry or specifically from the printer who provide services to your clients.

I’ll try and point this thread to Constantin as well if he’s got a few minutes to spare. It is possible that he might have something he can add here.
