My feedback, for what it’s worth, is that it’s worked as-is just fine and dandy for 6 years therefore it’s not broken therefore it does not need fixing. The only thing that hasn’t worked so far is Envato’s ability to define what should and should not be expected when buying micro stock.
+1, 100% agreed.
Good one indeed. Thanks for sharing.
On a second thought, I think it’s gonna be a pain for the eyes and overall for the marketplace’s design if that’s the only thing that changes.
The item sidebar will need the background changed as well, because, if I was to upload this as a template, it would get rejected because of lack of contrast! Just joking! Looks good, but the gray in the item sidebar needs to be a little darker, maybe?
Agreed with the first part. The sidebar boxes needs to be grayer. Hopefully the white will stay white from now on, higher energy billing incoming.
Wow, awesome! 1 million incoming heh? Keep it up!
Answered. Personally I find Android to be better on tables than iPad (I have never tested an iPad for a long time so I might be wrong) but only the Nexus family, because they always receive the latest updates. For example I wouldn’t get a Samsung tablet full of bloatware.
Creattive saidYes, but this does not do you any good if you have not kept up with downloading the updates. The last version of the item being sold should remain accessible to those that have purchased it. There is no good reason for Envato to pull the item unless there is some sort of copyright infringement issue. [...]
I totally hear you about the frustration that this can bring. But, to be honest, after purchase you get a note that you should download your purchase immediately and keep it on your harddrive in case it gets deleted.
If you haven’t kept up with the updates then it’s pretty much your fault. Envato hosting the file after being deleted by an author could actually infringe the author’s copyrights.
No discount is needed, all items are already discounted.
Pricop saidThey stated that the support fee they charge will be from the start 70-30 for Author and Author respectively, no matter the author level or all time sales.
Many buyers say they would not or probably would not buy the item if support was not included in the purchase price There is risk these buyers would look for alternatives outside Envato if they were required to pay for access to support[removed for language]
Oh, I see, so now Envato is trying to monetize our own time however they want, not even offering a decent support platform. Cool.
What’s actually funny is how Envato throws out these topics with “new proposals” and then using a stick they check whether we fight back or not.
