Personally, if this is still against policy, I think these authors need to not only have their badge taken away but also their accounts suspended. It’s against the Envato’s terms, if you do know any author you should notice Envato about that.

While this sounds fun, I remember back when I was a kid that I loved vibrant colors (they stimulated my brain), not necessarily on toys (there wasn’t too many back in the days anyway), but there is a certain place where you can’t just throw in neon colors and expect people to like them. To be honest I don’t like their approach at all, my eyes are bleeding all the time when I look at those horrible screen-shots that include those images made by the Apple’s marketing and communication team, hilarious.

Congrats, I just achieved that recently too.

Way much better than what they’ve come up so far, I really hope they’ll freaking change those ugly icons, otherwise I’m moving away. I don’t like bright icons to a level of eye bleeding at all.

This feature has been discussed before several times, as far as I can see it’s quite requested, the question is how many authors will actually use it? It would be nice to have it as an option tho, but how about the Badge? will you still have it?

@jennmattern – no offense but I don’t see an issue with the system. The items that I buy are WAY under priced, by like 10x or more and each one has saved me more time and money than I paid for them. Envato is not screwing us over, they are just making sure the paypal fees are covered. It is how they’ve done business for years and it seems to be working. I’m happy with it

Yup, this. There are PayPal fees that needs to be covered, I am a buyer too, I have a lot of friends that buy items from CodeCanyon and not only, the price and the fees are really low comparing to what you can find on the web.

The user you’ve referred made a payment reversal, therefore you got the 30% reversed as well because those money never reached to Envato.
