Hey, I’ve just seen a message under the menu asking whether my name is X Y. And it asks for confirmation. I couldn’t find any details about this, what is this all about?

I was rated 1 star with this reason.

Any there is no way to contact to buyer

Why would you wanna deal with him anyway? Especially if he didn’t even bothered to contact you in the first place.

I subscribe to what premitheme and Makis77 said. You guys don’t offer any kind of tools in regards to support but you want to make the support mandatory? Glad to see that the Authors stood up for themselves. I am totally against this change.

We can all see how slow the development goes on important things like shopping cart and such, trying to take away the few options we have here… is not a smart idea in my opinion.

About this thing of buying own item I didn’t thought that was possible! Why not the devs do a check on the user if is a seller and it is their item and hide this purchase button?

That’s how it works, however it cannot stop you from creating a blank account and start purchasing your own items. That’s what they are referring to.

The thing is that you guys do the changes and take decisions without asking the community, and only Timeout things when the Community backfires. For me it’s quite clear that you moved away from us (both the authors and the buyers).

The current system where Authors can opt out from offering support is the right way to be, because 99% of those who have opted-out, are still offering support and they are covered too. I don’t get it, why do you feel the need to enforce things when they are already done? If you’re not introducing new useful features, just let us the current options at least.

In the past days I’ve talked with several Authors, ranging from Elites to newcomers, believe it or not – none of them agreed with this change, and most of them offer support officially, this should mean something.

What? Now support is mandatory? If so, then -1 for mandatory support.
No. Quite opposite :) It’s about giving you a choice whether to provide support or no.

And what have I said? I don’t agree with mandatory support and therefore -1 for their change. +1 for an Opt-out option at least.

do you mean +1 for this thread?

Yes. It’s absurd to enforce mandatory support, when some Authors have products that costs $6, and in the best case they take 70%, which is $4.2, and they will have to offer support as well, whether they like it or not.

Random bundles now allowed. Mandatory support. What’s next? Mandatory free custom changes?

What else? Put us to code extra features for them for free? If I got a product for $6 or $10 and let’s assume the best, an earning rate of 70%, that would be aprox. $4.2 or $7 as real earnings, and have to install the product for him, and then he demands support for god knows what reasons is absurd.

+1 for allowing us to Opt-out. Why do you have to enforce things on Authors? The marketplaces are really going downwards if you continue with such changes.
