Hi Envato team.

I’m struggling to reply to comments using the Firefox browser.

The “autogrow” function of the reply box seems to be defunct .

I can see that there’s actions from “pixel.prfc” and “webtrends” hat keeps on loading without completing its loading and that must be the reason the javascript cannot load.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

Agree on this one, you can’t forbid one to drive on the road just because he drives a crappy car.

even though IE8 is optional, I know of so many companies that still work on ie8 as standard in the office.

Hey Net-Labs, you should not use above code because it affects 3rd party shortcodes as well.

Instead, use this: https://gist.github.com/bitfade/4555047

It’s TF approved and it only affects shortcodes you specify.

props to bitfade/pixelentity

Wow, this is the first solution that i see that have the idea of filtering for specific shortcodes, I’m keen to give it a try.

While the p’s is slowly driving be round the bend, i just do not want to do things that can break other stuff.

Thanks for the code

Same here

The word “tentatively” is a puzzling word for me.

My wife says that if I say that I’m tentatively planning to do something that it will never happen, but i guess it’s not the same in this instance.

Still hope the word “tentatively” gets replaced with something more concrete

Wow, removing autop is a sure way to make a few enemies. Unfortunately with removing the p tag, it also remove a lot of plugins ability to function properly.

Ive shifted between a few solutions over the last year or two, and none of them is perfect, but the one giving me most joy at present is listed below:

function croma_remove_empty_p($content) {
    $array = array (
        '<p>[' => '[',
        ']</p>' => ']',
        ']<br />' => ']',
        ']<br />' => ']'
    );
    $content = strtr($content, $array);
        return $content;
}
add_filter('the_content', 'croma_remove_empty_p', 10);

update maverick is crap.

wish there was a easy way to turn back time.

slow as hell. Maps are ugly and looks outdated against google maps. I do not want ibooks, i use kindle, why force ibooks down my throat?

Emails take forever to send.

script errors in firefox

the list goes on and on.

screen correction turned my grey into brown, now every time i want to see how grey looks like i cannot.

This is another disaster that just happened here.

Was asked to quickly fix code in a ipad app for someone last night and decided to update xcode for ios7 compatibility. Needless to say that 5 hours later I was still updating my OS. Just my luck :(

While i do not “feel” any performance improvements, I do like how the mail program shows previous mails from a sender just below the mail that they just sent you.

If I only use this feature it’s been worth the update.

and a reviewer who himself seems to know nothing about design

wow Chris I know the feeling. I had Kailoon’s picture on my dartboard for a week. (he was the reveiwer of my first theme submitted)

The truth is that if it wasn’t for Kailoon kicking my but all over the place, I would not have had a chance in the marketplace.

The reviewers know what they are doing, and your success is in getting over the hurt of being rejected and learning to know yourself when your design is not right for publication.

You’re almost there …....keep it up.
