For me, i see that you made a respectful effort. Well done!
But did the reviewer left a specific review comment on your work, or it was the common rejection message?
As a first step, shortly, the issues of your stuff are caring of padding, spacing, typography(contrast and attention)
This beside don’t leave the logo and navigation are only like this, add social icons, search icon, or side panel icon, or combine between them.
I made a quick imagination for some improvement to typography, padding and spacing. I recommend to highly revise these series of rules here: https://webdesign.tutsplus.com/series/web-design-theory--webdesign-2002 . They are very useful and helpful.
Also back to the most popular items here to make some guideline imaginations for getting inspirations and ideas of the main features of successful works.http://share.pho.to/9aQAO/rc/original
What was the reviewer comment? For me, it’s not looking bad. But as a known rule, you should submit works that come with something new or unique. Your work might be looking repeated or traditional.
But by the way, It desreve to say: “Good work!”
Great! But what you think about “Firebug” which was the might the most and first development tool since a long time? Do you think the default browser’s development tool became more efficient?
Since long time, Firebug is the main and first web development tool. I remember that the default browser’s web development tool was not as nowadays.
So i would like to know what is your currently one you are using nowadays? Is it still Firebug so far or the browser’s one?
We are waiting more reviews of experiences!
Great reviews! Thanks guys
I’m also using Sublime Text. Some time ago I used Eclipse (for more complicated projects) or Notepad++ (for simpler ones) but after seeing a thread here a couple of months ago, I have tried Sublime Text and since then, I’m using it. It’s a good choice, fast, stable, not memory consuming, tons of options, preferences or/and themes, code completions, cross-platform, extendable with plugins, lot of tutorials available, rename variables with ease, easily search/jump to anything, distraction-free mode and a lot of other great features. Brackets on the other side…I have also tried Brackets. It’s not stable, a lot of sudden crashes. It does not support files with other encoding than UTF8. Live previews not always working…It has too many issues, it’s under development, I don’t think it’s very stable yet.
Thanks greenline, great review!
This feature should be a preview “option” beside the old original approach. This current style is hard to quickly explore any specific screenshot, such as in PSD templates.
Both of Sublime Text and Brackets editors are used by many developers. I’m a user for Sublime Text 2 and i want to get reviews according to experience of people here who used both of them, and is there one of these 2 editors to be highly recommended than the other?
