Thanks baranq. It’s a shame no one else feels this is important enough to talk about.
Both envato and us authors are loosing out with these prices.
Is he a robot!?
I did the Everest Base Camp trek some years ago and it was incredible! Spent 3 weeks trekking around there including Gokyo and Cho La pass. 3 months on the trip all up.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, brought back some great memories. Glad you loved it!
You can use stock images from PhotoDune an unlimited number of times on the web in sizes 1200×800 and below from what I understand.
And you don’t HAVE to provide image attribution ( but if you do it’s always appreciated by us authors )
Thanks for checking. Anyone else try in Safari? It’s been this way for months for me.
When logged in and viewing your own portfolio (in Safari, not sure about other browsers) on PhotoDune, if you sort by Rating the thumbnail display gets all messed up – images are missing, lines are running off the screen.
It only happens in Rating sort from what I can tell. Anyone else notice the same?
I know this has been discussed before, and it was slightly improved quite some time back, but there really needs to be another look at EL pricing on PhotoDune by Collis and the team.
It is terribly underpriced still. I know there is an opt-out and thats great. But why not just improve the pricing and get more people opting in?
For instance, one of my files on GraphicRiver sells for $5. The EL for that file is $75. One of my photos sells on PhotoDune for $5. The EL for that file is $40. Why is this EL almost half price? Even choosing the highest possible resolution file at $9 still only makes the EL $72.
EL’s of these same files on other stock sites sell for around $100 and they sell all the time.
Could this please be re-evaluated? Anyone else feel the same?
You will find many old paper textures in my portfolio, specifically here:http://photodune.net/user/MicrostockMan/portfolio/search?utf8=?&term=paper+texture
Hope that helps.
I believe you can, with separate accounts – 1 exclusive, 1 non exclusive for different products.
Perhaps a mod can confirm though.
Wow, I’m surprised this thread was even allowed!
iS = 15% royalty. PhotoDune = 33% royalty, or I notice you’re exclusive so up to 70%.
Just food for thought…
