Thread Locked >> Selling rights
We currently don’t allow the advertising of selling rights to items on the forums. This is particularly the case with those looking to sell their items already available on the Marketplace, as trying to do that comes with a huge warning –http://support.envato.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/245
You’re welcome to look for partnerships on the forums if you like, but the forums are not to be used as a place to sell your goods or rights to your items. Thanks!

I’m just still not clear, so now, everybody gets to get the same percentage of the sales – but the fees lower (paid to Envato) as you sell even more?I mean, isn’t this the same thing as percentages, but just rebranded?
Correct. If you are an Exclusive author as you sell more you will be paying less of a percentage to Envato. So the lower the number the better for you
I’ll admit I hate maths a lot…it took me a while to figure it out myself. So just remember this, the lower the number, the better
Update: Or….you can just read Christian’s post above, as it’s much more detailed than mine. But I am a bit suspicious of his apparent love of maths
It’s just a different way of looking at things, and as Collis said is his post, it’s a bit of a philosophical switch for us “to a two-sided fee structure will help us focus on both sides of the marketplaces to ensure we earn our fees”.
It’s basically flipping things around a bit, so authors will now be advancing to achieve a smaller number of what they are paying to Envato rather than advancing to achieve a higher percentage of what they are keeping off the item price. So in effect, the smaller the number the better. That means you have to pay out less and get to keep more.
I agree, since it’s a completely different way of looking at things than what we’ve been use to, it may take a bit of time to get your head around it. But at the end of the day, the amounts stay the same and this will really help Envato as a company focus on both sides of buying and selling
