Its easy mate. The preview file shouldn’t be in a zip file. You just have to upload the mp3 file there. Only the main files should be put into a zip file.
Best of luck!
Oooooh I had such a disappointment…
I was out in the city when I received an email on my phone with these Thanksgiving sales at Native Instruments. It was written…get 50% for Komplete 9 and Komplete 9 Ultimate. I was really excited about that and wanted to go straight home and spend 500euros instead of 1000 on the Ultimate without any second thought. Finally I get home and I see that the 50% of is on upgrades and other stuff like that… And I wanted that Komplete sooooo bad…
I’m uploading files here since last December ( although I made the account in the summer last year ). And this November turned out to be my best selling month. It seems that the website I created brought quite a nice number of visitors and buyers.
Most of the tracks that I sold this month have those extra 2 dollars, so…its people from outside that just dropped on my page somehow.
Although I’m far from being a big animal in the jungle, its getting better and better for me.
On the main page of AJ at the top right corner you can see the latest tracks from the authors you follow. I check the new works of the people I follow and I am really happy to see what they come up with and get inspired and motivated.
Thats about it for me for the whole following thing. I’m happy to be followed by 98 authors by now. Almost 100 soon
I think it might well go to the World Beat category. It certainly has some ethnic flavor…Nice job by the way
Thank you guys…really good source of inspiration. As soon as I am done with my website I will post it as well. What do you usually use to create your website? I made an account on webs.com…
Would be great if you guys would share your websites. I would really like to see how you organize your own websites and hear some experiences about how much traffic you direct from there to AudioJungle. I guess it helps a lot and it makes you look more professional, rather than with only a facebook page or something.
I hope it doesn’t count as self promotion if people would share this here. I’m working on my own site now and I would really love to have some inspiration from you guys. I don’t know but it seems that since I activated this website, my sales began to raise…
Thanks a lot
For a passionate musician, I don’t know what would it take NOT to do music. I’ve seen amazing cases of physically disabled people, even deaf ones, etc. who still follow their passion one way or the other. Those people are such an inspiration.
But if I would see myself doing something else other then music…I would go for something which involves lots of traveling. I just love being on the road (That’s another reason for becoming a musician in the first place You get to see the world and you get even paid for )
I had a track featured…my bad luck was that it happened in August, the month with lowest sales usually (people are somewhere on a beach rather than at work). But anyways I was happy with that also. Got me some sales, profile views, lots of followers and lots of wonderful encouraging comments and appreciation on various tracks.
I’m not uploading quite regularly and I barely do any advertising of my works anywhere, but things went well for me since the search engine saga began. November was my second best selling month (first one being August when I had a featured track).
So…whatever happened, works quite well for me. I’m not boasting with sales but I got my small steady rhythm. (No uke tracks in my portfolio )
