I have a question since it seems I did not understand completely something…or maybe I did. I see that a lot of people here post links to their own items in this thread, is that allowed except in item discussion section? I ask this because my latest track would be very suitable for this thread, but as I read the forum rules, I’m not sure that’s really allowed. So, if someone who has more experience is willing to answer me, that would be nice. Thanks
I started this thread for metal authors to share their items, because this style is rare here and it’s hard to find. So i think that link to your track is exactly what this thread was created for
And if it’s not allowed then the whole thread is out of law
TheBritonz saidWHOAAA !!! f*ing awesome!!! i’m a beginner metal composer (will become an author here soon… i hope), but i can’t achieve that quality level as you’ve got (think it’s best among metal items here)! What kind of equipment do you use?
ZdenekHoub saidWow, thank you guys for praising our Chapter One, that was actually an experiment in such a hard style! And we have a new one just approved ! Please, check it out, it’s called Chapter Two
Steve5000 saidGreat track!!
THIS is harder then hell, man! Pure evil!

gvsmusic saidGreat sound, true old school heavy )) 5 stars to you

I once tried to submit real brutal stuff, but it got rejected. It was a mix of hardcore with thrash, crushing and dissonant. No bueno!.
So I’m guessing your best bet is to submit some juvenile “heavy” Linkin Park-sounding stuff, or some biker-sounding stuff a-la Black Label Society.
Hard rock-ish stuff is generally accepted, I think. So you could then make a heavier-than-usual hard rock track and it’d probably pass the review smoothly.
Or heavier-than-usual modern progressive hard rock, like I did for this one
http://audiojungle.net/item/break-all-these-walls/2623365
Or heavier-than-usual funky, guitar-driven, stuff: http://audiojungle.net/item/disloyalty-to-the-funk/3118489
But actual brutal death, grind, or black or any seriously heavy and dissonant stuff will probably get rejected.
Then again, I’ve heard this kind of stuff depends on the individual reviewer’s subjective opinion rather than any concrete, global, Envato reviewing rules.
(And the profile of the guy who reviewed me that one time did look like someone completely alien to heavy music.)

well, look on previous post by Steve5000, this is definitely doesn’t sound like Linkin Park
ZdenekHoub saidabsolutely agree, probably the hardest stuff on audiojungle! and it’s really hard to find somth like this
Steve5000 saidGreat track!!
THIS is harder then hell, man! Pure evil!
ZdenekHoub saidWow, some of your tracks have really burned my ass!!
Not much on AJ but try these:Metal Party Heavy Metal 3 Heavy Metal
just what i was looking fornot bad) you say that it won’t pass the review, but i don’t understand why? is there any discrimination of certain styles of music on audiojungle? P.S: is there anybody else, my metal friends?
It seems that the most popular items here on audiojungle is corporate and lite-rock, but as for me, i really like to try something really hard, and you know what? I just can’t find the hard enough metal track here/ So I’m really interested to find out what is the most brutal hardcore heavy metal item here here on audiojungle! If you’ve got one, suggest it here
