As repetitive as this may get, I’m thankful for my parents unyielding support, and not just financially. They’ve inspired me to be and do whatever I set my heart to, and taught me to push through when faced with obstacles. I feel blessed knowing that I underwent two abrupt career changes (athletic injury and forced to switch schools..)yet my parents stood by me the whole way.
And now that I’m on my feet and doing what I love, they’re still there listening to my work, giving me feedback, and wishing me the best. I wouldn’t be anywhere or anyone without them. So thanks Mom and Dad
Wow, nice work AudioPizza! You’ll be flying through these paws in no time
Here’s my nomination! Why nothttp://audiojungle.net/item/peaceful-awakening/3237031
I try to remember that there will always be greater and lesser persons then ourselves. This could be in talent, opportunity, knowledge, resources etc.
I personally think the absolute worst thing one can do (for happiness sake) is compare ourselves and our work to others. It’s noble to want to improve and desire success, but for me personally, true success was not in the number of sales I accumulated, but becoming free from the roller coaster of emotions that comes with comparison.
You see, jealousy and envy are the fruit of comparison. Alternately, inspiration is the fruit of admiration. All I can say is, I have learned to simply admire those beyond my own skill and talent and in doing so it fuels my life rather than draining it.
On AudioJungle, I am just as happy as I was three years ago; but I have become more grateful and appreciative over time. When it comes to AJ I have a personal rule: The only one I am allowed to compete with is myself, everyone else, I simply admire and appreciate. It keeps the heart free, and when the heart is free, creativity and inspiration flow so easily.
Wow, well said Tim. Clearly your AJ code has lead you down a pretty successful path. Not to mention your obvious resilience toward corruption and bitterness throughout the community.
Berlin – competition is certainly healthy, and there’s nothing wrong with comparing your music to others. Just remember why you’re comparing..to learn and improve. That’s something that makes this community stand out. There are so many artist and different styles/tastes of music; the knowledge and experience you can gain from simply listening is limitless. Use the music and talent here for good.
Welcome to the jungle Josh! Good luck with your tunes and enjoy yourself
Hmm well I’d probably be focusing a lot more of my time on fitness and athletics, meanwhile trying to find an alternative creative outlet. Maybe I could do both and just take up parkour haha.
Welcome to the jungle, Stargazer! Can’t wait to hear what you guys offer
This is actually a very comforting site. Nice work, it’s a great idea!
Wow, that’s pretty cool. Esp since it’s a past invention. Very cool find.
