Still very bad. The thing that’s weird to me is that sales appear to be fine if you just look at the ‘popular files’ page. The minimum number of sales an item needs to get onto the list is around 16-18 sales per week, which is pretty good. When I started VH it was around 11-12 per week.

Maybe the popular files are getting more popular and the new files are being overlooked, who knows. Just weird the see the popular files prospering while many other files are seeing very slow sales.

The titles, transitions and background graphics are awesome! It’s just the lower thirds that are bringing it all down in my opinion. One thing you could improve with the lower thirds is how you’ve arranged the text. Some of the text is spaced too closely in the vertical direction and is slightly hard to read. Also keep using that font you used for the titles, I like that font.

Good luck man!

I had the best 8 weeks in my history of Videohive, the past two weeks hit a brick wall. Very strange, abrupt stoppage in sales here.

The E3D test keeps giving me an error and won’t render, probably because I have E3D 2.0 not 1.6.

But I got a 3:26 render time for the “4K All CPU” test. My temperatures all stayed below 50 C.

Computer specs:

  • Intel 4790K @ 4.40Ghz
  • 16gb DDR3 RAM
  • GTX 970 GPU

Thanks for posting. I don’t think anyone benefits from having this issue be ignored. It should be an easy fix too!

It’s kind of like a three strikes you’re out deal with Envato, as I understand it at least. Sometimes you get a couple warnings, sometimes just one warning. All the authors I know of that have been banned were given at least one warning before they were banned.

The moral of the story is be careful with the assets that you use. If you’re unsure of something ask Envato support before hand.
