Is any API method to get list of all categories and subcategories for each of Envato marketplaces?
No. I too was in the need to get all the categories and sub categories for a project I’m working on. I ended up having to write my own API so-to-speak. I can’t remember what server I put it on, but as soon as I find it, I’ll send you a message.

API “search” return only 50 matching results, this is possible to get next 50 results?
Not that I know of. You might want to do a thesaurus lookup and suggest alternative words to search for. You could also track how many times a particular author shows up in the current results – and offer an author based search – possibly that author “specializes” in a desired “area of interest” (admin templates, real estate, etc.) – just some suggestions.

I feel if this is not described in documentation then this is not possible (but should be!).
Oh it’s possible! Just not through the official Envato API ;)

You’ll have better luck asking your question in the comments section for that particular item: http://codecanyon.net/item/sky-jquery-touch-carousel/discussion/4236751

but you can override the default with something like this:
.sky-carousel {
background: #ff0000
}

I don’t think item description will support the align attribute in your p tags – but that won’t prevent it from working. A work around for centering an image is to make the image 616px with a transparent background.

All you need to do is edit your item and copy the source code from your description page (you linked to above) into the item description box(very first box on edit page). Scroll about half way down the page and click “Save Changes”. No need to message reviewer or anything. Description changes will be instant – no queue.

Hey Sherwill, This is a general discussion forum. You’ll have better luck asking the author directly on their comments page – or message them via their profile page (bottom of right hand column).

Hey Berlin; scrap all that code above. Turns out Envato has this data (sales & followrs) in a different API call – just found it this morning.

<?php

error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors', '1');

require 'Envato_marketplaces.php';

$Envato = new Envato_marketplaces();

$user_data = $Envato->public_user_data('Berlin-InEar');

//comment out for production
$Envato->prettyPrint($user_data);

//show totals on screen
echo 'Total Sales: '; //not needed
echo $total_sales; //shows total sales
echo '<br />'; //not needed
echo 'Total Followers: '; //not needed
echo $user_data->followers; //shows number of followers.

LifeLock.

What do you think of that LifeLock? I’ve done a bit of research, but mostly wrote it off as another joke.

I assume you are talking about the Envato Site Switcher. It’s been like that for years. When I’m on my Android tablet or phone I just type in the address rather than mess with that dropdown. I generally avoid Envato whilst on my mobile devices.

We would need to see source code (and what you are trying to do) in order to help you out.

Hey Berlin, here is the full script using Jeffrey’s wrapper – for display the accumulated sums.
<?php

error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors', '1');

require 'Envato_marketplaces.php';

//set your API key
$Envato = new Envato_marketplaces('[Your-API-Key]');

//set your username
$monthly_earnings = $Envato->earnings_by_month('[Your-Username]');

//comment out for production by adding a double forward slash //
$Envato->prettyPrint($monthly_earnings);

//set variables to zero (only needed because of shorthand math "+=" in loop)
$total_sales=$total_earnings=0;

//loop over each array value [0], [1], [2], [3], etc.
foreach($monthly_earnings as $key=>$val) {
    $total_sales += $val->sales;
    $total_earnings += $val->earnings;
}

//show totals on screen
echo 'Total Sales: '; //not needed
echo $total_sales; //shows sum of all sales
echo '<br />'; //not needed
echo 'Total Earnings: '; //not needed
echo $total_earnings; //shows sum of all earnings - probably not want to display that.
