That’s usually true, but then you could argue that £500 isn’t cheap

I have an acer at the moment, and I’m pretty sure I’ve had it for at least 3 years now! It still runs quite well, but the battery life is awful and I like the idea of a shiny new laptop

I do like the Macbooks, but they’re a bit expensive!

The surface looks great, but I think I’d rather go for an actual laptop. A tablet is next in line

What do you think of the Acer Aspire V3-771? It seems like quite a lot of laptop for the money to me, and a 17.3” HD screen is quite appealing! Also, it’s younger brother – the Acer Aspire V3-731 – is £100 cheaper, and seems to be pretty much the same but has a B960 2 .2GHz CPU instead of an i5, do you think the i5 upgrade is worth £100?

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I think I’ll stick to converting other peoples designs to WordPress instead of attempting my own, my design ability requires significant improvement!

Also, you could polish up the preview a bit. From what I gather looking around your demo, the boxes by the slider and the background can be changed/removed.

Personally, I think this looks better already:

There would be no point in starting again, it’s much easier to make improvements.

The one thing I notice, like OTallu said, is the typography. In particular I’m not a fan of the navigation font.

I’ve submitted my theme a couple of times now, the first time a few problems were pointed out to me and I was able to fix them and resubmit. I submitted again a few weeks ago, and got rejected as the theme is not unique enough. I’m not disputing that, but I’d very much like some suggestions as to how I can make it more unique without starting again!
