As for the header and the use of the word “iterate / iteration / iterating” Lets not dwell on that, we overuse it at work all the time. Even in production environments.
However back on track, the header does need fixing, the concensus has already voiced this. As I stated many pages ago, it would be nice for envato to actually put their hands up and say, Ok we got it wrong… the sheer fact is incorrect and over clicking of the crappy logo system, will not reflect well in analytical analysis.
So why not gingerly get the community to do an “a la drivvvvvle” or whatever its called and come up with some actual concepts that would work.
Best of luck with that. I would ditch your friend, he has lousy taste lol
Cheers will check it out ty
Ahhh sweet, how to add a line break after each error message ?
Currently it now displays ..
There was an error with your submission. – Your name is required – Email address is required – Please enter a message
Need to do it like:There was an error with your submission.
- - Your name is required
- - Email address is required
- - Please enter a message
The following generates an alert box, with validation errors.
alert("There was an error with your submission.\n\n" + data.message);
Which generates an alert box with this inside:
There was an error with your submission. - Your name is required - Email address is required - Please enter a message
But What I want to do is throw them into a div.
jQuery('.alert-danger').show(); setTimeout("jQuery('.alert-danger').fadeOut()", 3000);
How would I display the alert stuff within a div.
I have tried changing, to this… with no success.
jQuery('.alert-danger').show(); ($this).html("There was an error with your submission.\n\n" + data.message); setTimeout("jQuery('.alert-danger').fadeOut()", 3000);
As you can see I am a knob with jQuery. Just want to show the errors in a div not an alert box.
