It could be said that stock music used to be crap, and probably that reputation is still around for some people. A friend of mine who used to have to pick out music to put behind automated phone services something like 10 years ago said something similar – when he heard the stuff that was available now he remarked that it was light years better than what he used to have to deal with.
I totally agree with that. I had to pick stock music for nearly 10 years as a radio producer and it really used to be bad. From out of hundreds of cds I used to work with say 10. But “stock music” definitely changed over the last years. When listening around here on AJ I can hear some much great music that I don´t even think about such tracks as stock music. It´s great music that just gets sold as stock music.
Hey Charlie, wish you a great time here!
I´ve only recognized the last one in streak exploration, that would behttp://audiojungle.net/item/energetic-pumping-electronic-club-track/48872
Thanks a lot Collis, this is just great!
Oh yes, this is incredible news.
Thanks a lot! As Joel said, it´s very much appreciated!
Wow, many congrats, Dmitry!
Thanks for havin me aboard, Alex!
Thanks so much for great information, Collis! And i completely agree with Jhunger about things, that can be improved on AJ:1. Exclusivity per item. It would be great not to have to split your portfolio in two (and essentially start all over again) in order to list exclusively. 2. Some sort of sliding scale for non-exclusive authors like the exclusive authors have, not as lofty, of course, but a little bit of a hike for reaching certain revenue amounts. 3. One thing I was thinking of the other day is some sort of automatic posting when authors hit a milestone (a new paw, or 500 sales, etc.).+1
right, also +1 on Joel´s ideas…
