Dirty Loops are great! Heja Sverige!
Adding ‘Ratings’ to the search criteria is a very bad idea. In a market where we’re averaging 2-4% of our tracks/sales being rated, that is going to cut a LOT of people out of the results.
Buyers will naturally gravitate towards looking for something that’s rated high. By doing this, they will inadvertently remove a lot of great music from their search results because people don’t take time to rate GREAT music.
I thought we agreed that the ratings were pretty much irrelevant here at AJ? Why are we going backwards?I BEG the staff to reverse this decision.
I can’t imagine ratings would be included, as staff have already said ratings aren’t really relevant to AJ. I think if faceted search was rolled out to AJ it would be a great thing for authors and buyers alike.
I hope you’re right. In general I think faceted search would be great for AJ, I’m just worried about the ratings part..
I think if ratings have to be a part of this new search, the whole rating system needs to be adjusted. It’s a bit silly that by sorting the search by ratings, one leaves out 96% of AJ library – as currently only 7234 AJ items have any kind of a visible rating at all. I hope buyers will notice this, as otherwise it’s a very possible death sentence to the most of AJ items.
I just sold a christmas track a couple of days ago
My earnings failed to reset again. I wonder if this is going to be an issue every month..

gballx saidYou can not imagine how my habits have changed since I’m on AudioJungle. Every morning the first thing I do is look at the phone and see if I sold something. It is a disease :))))
Isn’t it! The anticipation is extrodinary and terribly exciting waking up each morning to see how far Elysium is and embarking on this journey to the never land.
That’s called Jungle Fever and there’s no cure.
