Hello Graphic-Studio,

Thank you for your message to Envato Help Team. I apologize for the delay in our reply. We’re experiencing larger than normal inquiries this past week and we’re working hard to clear the backlog and I just wanted to apologize for the late response.

Even though we allow users to have multiple accounts, we unfortunately are not able to transfer any type of data or funds between the account. The accounts are completely separate along with the data that relates to them.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thanks for the update, that’s really bad news. so there is no exclusivity per item and you can’t move an item from your exclusive account to your non-exclusive account. We are stuck :(

You should contact support and ask for this. The items can be moved to another account, along with all its data(sales, comments, etc), but this is done only by staff and manually. That’s all what I know for now. Hi,

I wish there were an exclusivity option per item not per account, but since it’s not possible at least for now Can I move one of my items from my exclusive account to a non-exclusive account? If yes, will all its data be preserved? i.e initial release date, sales number, comments and ratings?

Opt-out = no sales (who would buy an item with a red flag saying “This item is NOT supported”
Opt-in = Free mandatory support.

IMO the fair proposal would be different price packages:
  • Item Only = item normal price (without support).
  • Item + Basic support = X Normal price + Basic support (opt-in/out for authors).
  • Item + Full Support = 10X Normal price (opt-in/out for authors).

I don’t think that we can rely on the author survey because it was targeting only active authors whom check the dashboard frequently. I think many authors do not either because they don’t reply to comments or they didn’t get comments or just keep the account open for a passive income!
btw I check my dashboard almost hourly, but I think I’m an addict :)

IMO If envato want to make support mandatory they should give the buyer 2 options:
1. buy without support for X the normal low price.
2. buy with support* for 5-10X.
*envato set the definition of support, and author can opt-in/out of the support option. so the buyer knows what to expect.

I’m sorry if any of my points was mentioned before.
